San Fran for a Day // Singapore For a Night

In January of 2017, Chrissy, Lo, the aunts and I visited Thailand for a couple days. Y-ee and I had a stop in San Francisco for a day. It was perfect because that’s where the rest of them joined us. From San Fran to Bangkok, Lo had specifically planned for us to have an overnight layover in Singapore. Here is a short recap of both days.

Lo was at work and Chrissy couldn't eat anything because her stomach wasn't feeling well. Thank you for being a trooper and taking me out to snack while you watched! 😝

We did some Yelping and found Phusion. Mac and cheese inside a waffle!? It was not as flavorful as I was expecting. The hotdog one was pretty good though.

I also tried dole whip for the first time at Pineapples. The first bite is very sour but it was good!

Changi Airport ✈️

After a 16 hour flight, we arrived in Singapore. This airport is now my favorite airport. It was clean, there is so much to explore and there was Pokemon everywhere! Check out the Straits Food Village if you have time. The food there was good!

It was really convenient having our hotel, Crowne Plaza, attached to the airport. It was a short walk to check-in and we didn’t have to leave the airport with our luggages. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean with a standing rain shower and a bathtub.

Lau Pa Sat Food Market 🍒

We arrived at night so right after checking into the hotel, we headed out for dinner. Lo knew she wanted to try this place so we called the taxi and off we went.

Merlion at Marina Bay

Visited the merlion. Climbed over the little water section to get a closer look. There is also a cute mini merlion made from tiles behind the big one!

Changi airport has so many activities. I wouldn’t mind have a whole day there.
