Book early! Arsana is the head guy. Heโ€™ll help manage and plan your trip. English is great! Better to go with you and hubby since when you arrive, you both can be on a scooter together with a driver or plan to have two separate drivers (donโ€™t rent and drive on your own, roads are crazy). THIS IS A EPIC DAY TRIP FOR REALZZZZ ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏplease go ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Day trip 2๏ธโƒฃArea: UBUD (oooh-boood)

Places IN THIS ORDER:

  1. Bali Swing - get here early in the crack of dawned forever wait. Open 8am-5pm. $35 for package (hubby should not pay this amount).

  2. Tegallalang Rice fields. โ—๏ธnote: There are two SWINGS here as well for 150,000 rupiah ($10!!!!!!) the higher one is the instagramable since you see the rice paddy in the background!!!!

  3. Pura Tirta Empul - Balinese Hindu Water spring. You can get in the spring if you want to be blessed. ๐Ÿ‘™so bring a swimsuit just in case but it is mandatory to be covered up in a sarong which they will give you upon entry.

Notice: there are SO MANY things to see and do in Ubud. Monkey temple is there but I donโ€™t think itโ€™s necessary to go since theyโ€™re mean and you see them all over the island anyway. The market is great and they have cute bags!! ๐Ÿ‘›๐Ÿ‘œ๐ŸŽ’๐Ÿงณ

๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’

Day trip 3๏ธโƒฃArea: East Coast

Point of interests:

  1. Lempuyang Temple - GATEWAY TO HEAVEN split photo!!!! And see the amazing Mount Agung from the back!

  2. Tirta Gangga - super cute Koi pond temple. Tip: buy fish food upon entrance, get hubby camera ready, you throw fish food around you. You are now the fish whisperer! Cute koi fish photo!!! ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ

  3. Ujung Water Palace - beautiful garden temple. Cute bridge photo and go up the stairs, super cool view and more photo ops.

In my experience, I hired a driver and specifically told them I want to see these 3 main places. I just found this on TripAdvisor and thereโ€™s a lot more you can see and I highly recommend it although I didnโ€™t get to do some of the extra stuff. BOOK EARLY. Good for couple or group (depending how long you wanna stock around to take photos). ๐Ÿ’ต$40 per person NOT BAD for the experience! ๐Ÿ’ฏthere is also another view of a large rice paddy field on the way back home to your villa hub. Driver will know to stop over to take on the view. If you decide to book with this agency, convince them to pick you up early for the Lempuyang Temple (2.5hr drive from your location). Line for the photo is ridiculous.

โ—๏ธnotice: price in agency excludes admission to the temples. Itโ€™s not a lot at all, always keep enough IDR (Indonesian rupiah) to buy snacks, drinks, souvenirs.

Additional useful information -

Villa name: Villa Naga

Villa address: Jl. Raya Kesambi, gg. Naga no.5, Kerobokan, Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361

Cleaner:

6x a week at 12pm. If you are at home she will knock and then enter with her key when itโ€™s OK. If you are out, she will enter and lock the gates with her key when leaving.

Pool cleaner:

2x a week at 5pm (Monday and Thursday normally) He will also knock and then enter into the garden with his key to maintain the pool and water the plants. He will lock the gate when leaving.

1X a week i will come to the garden to ensure the garden is in a good state and water the plants, as 2X watering is not enough for these tropical plants. I will message you before I go there to do that to make sure I donโ€™t disturb.

Closest small supermarket:

1 minute away on the bike, 5mins walk or less, called indomart.

Closest BNI ATM:

3mins away on the bike next to another indomart.

Money Exchange:

The best one we know can be found in Lio Square. I will attach the picture for it also.

Beer at the Villa:

You can buy a carton (24 pieces) of beer at 26.000Rp / Bintang, which is way below the standard 35.000+ Rp price outside in the shops. Please inform me if you wish to buy any and we can deliver it to the Villa for you.

Trip/Transfer to Gili Islands, Nusa Penida and Lembongan:

We offer transfer to all of the islands mentioned above. The price is below market price and will include shuttle Pick-up/Drop-off to the harbour and back for your return also + the boat tickets. It does not include transport on any of the islands as the local council does not allow for us to do that. For more info on that and to book tickets with us, please get in touch with me. The latest to book a trip is by 5pm on the day before youโ€™d like to leave.

GoJek/Grab:

Please download these apps and sign up. Iโ€™d recommend Gojek from personal use, but either of them do a great job. This allows you to use cheap transport. Motorbike taxi (for 1 person), go-car or bluebird for up to 6 people. You can also order food to your house using go-food. This is super easy and cheap. We can help you explaining on how to use these apps, although they are very self-explanatory so no need to worry. These apps are allowed to operate in the area of the Villa so feel free to use it as you wish.

Motorbike rental:

We can help you arrange motorbike rental. The company we used before we decided to discontinue. There are several motorbike rentals around that you can use. We can also help you arrange rentals for different kinds of bikes. Stock we normally have: Honda Vario, Honda Scoopy, Yamaha Nmax, Big Sport bike. The bikes can be delivered to the Villa and paid there in advance for the duration youโ€™d like to take it.

Vario+Scoopy would cost around 60.000-80.000Rp/Day (Recommended for ladies)

Nmax would cost around 150.000Rp/Day

Big sport bike would cost around 90.000Rp/Day

(These are guide prices and often up to bargaining) We can help with rent cheap, great quality scooters which will be delivered to the Villa whenever you wish.

Please be aware that riding bikes in Bali can be dangerous and scary at first, especially with no previous experience. We advise our guests to rent a motorbike to explore Bali easily, but also recommend to take caution until comfortable riding. No need to scared of it though, you get the hang of it quickly.

Other cool restaurants I missed from the booklet:

25:PM Coffee Shop: 2 minutes walk from the Villa, just across the gang and then through the shortcut next to Warung Ikan which will leas you straight to it. Great coffee and cakes with Wifi.

Satusatu Cangu: Great, healthy breakfast in Canggu. A little bit far perhaps.

Social Bistro: (2mins ride from the Villa) - Great breakfast deals with an amazing rice field view. Good food in a quiet setting.

Soteria: (8-10mins ride from the Villa) - Decent international menu to choose items from.

Warung Sobat 2: (4mins from the Villa) - Very popular place for tourists. Big portions, good prices and great food.

Warung Cantina: (15-20mins from the Villa, next to Tropical beach club) - great and cheap food right on the beach in Batu belig. Local food with some international items. The food and drinks are great here to enjoy at sunset.

Dowmtime cafe: (7mins from the Villa) - good drinks and food and roughly 100 board and card games to enjoy with friends and family.

In addition, Goggle will have many great places to eat at.

Closest Gym:

Empire Fit Club Bali is a 3minutes walk from the Villa, right next to 25:PM coffee shop.

Booking trips: the leaflets that you can find in the Villa are the same as the ones the tour info hubs have around Bali. When you book any transportation or tour, just remember that everything can and should be bargained here. The price they give you is not the real price so always try your best to bring the price down. If you need help with booking any tours or bargaining with the locals, please let me know.

For fake eyelashes:

Please contact our consultant from Sugarlashess, who does an amazing job for very cheap. @sugarlashessofficial on Instagram OR Whatsapp: +62 882 25062866. Alternatively message me for any bookings. She can come to the Villa to complete the job at no extra charge.

For massages at the Villa:

Please contact me prior so I can arrange our amazing masseuse to come to the Villa for a massage of your choice. I can arrange it with the massouse to come to the villa at a time that suits where she can massage you there on the bed or she can bring her own massage table, it depends. The cost will vary with the type and length of massage you want. It is roughly between 100-150.000 for full body 1-1,5hours. Tipping is advised and expected with the massage normally (20-30.000Rp). Let us know what type of massage you like and when and I can arrange. Also we need to know how many masseuse you need at a time ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ
